Okay! I am not talking about you giving up all you have achieved or earned and turn in to a death-dare-me risk taker. First off, its totally okay to be an employee, especially, if your employer is allowing you to live your life to its fullest. No issues here at all.
However, if that’s not the case, more often than not, I’ve heard people getting worried about making a shift to a new role or employer. Apparently, the aesthetics of their resume goes for a toss. Seriously?
I always wondered that if a company can fire you because you are not meeting its expectations, why can’t you fire your company (if its not meeting your expectations)?
Side Note: Maybe the next employer is worried that you shifted 10 jobs in 5 years. Ideally, you should be doing some introspecting.
